Every manual in your home, one searchable place

Photograph the rating plate and Manualify identifies the appliance and finds its official manual — before the box hits the recycling. From then on, the answer to “what does error E24 mean” is a search away, even offline.

With a free account Manualify finds and saves the manual for you; without one your library still works on this device.

Capture in one photo

One + button. Photograph the rating plate — the sticker with the model and serial number — and the device is saved instantly. Identification runs in the background and never blocks you. A PDF, a link or a typed brand and model work too.

The real manual, found for you

Manualify searches for the actual document instead of guessing a link: a community catalog first, then the maker's own site. A manual from an official domain that verifies is attached automatically; anything else is offered as a short pick list, and you decide.

Search inside your manuals

Type an error code or the job you're doing — “E24”, “replace the filter” — and the manual opens at the matching page. Manuals get opened when something is broken; that is the moment this is built for, and it works offline.

One library for the household

Sign in to sync between your devices and share the library with the people you live with. The dishwasher's manual is there for whoever is standing in front of the dishwasher.

Your data stays yours

Local-first: your library lives on your device, with no ads. Export everything as one zip file, optionally encrypted, whenever you like. Cloud sync is a choice, not a requirement.

Common questions

How do I find the manual for my washing machine?

Open Manualify, tap the + button and photograph the rating plate — the sticker with the model number, usually inside the door or on the back. The app reads the brand and model and searches for the official manual: community catalog first, then a verified link from the maker's own site. You confirm the match before anything is attached.

What is a rating plate and where do I find it?

The rating plate is the sticker printed with the model and serial number. Look on the back, the underside, or inside the door or lid of the appliance. It is what tells Manualify exactly which product you own — no plate? A photo of the manual's cover, the box, or the device itself also works.

Do I need an account?

No. Without an account everything runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded: adding devices, storing manuals, reading and searching inside them. Signing in adds sync between your devices, household sharing, AI identification of your photos and the automatic manual search.

Is Manualify free?

Yes — the app is free to use, with no ads, and without an account it costs nothing. The app sends no usage data. Without an account your library stays on your phone; the app sends only what a feature you use needs, such as a catalogue search. The server-side extras that come with signing in, such as the AI reading of photos, are opt-in.

Where are my manuals stored?

On your own device, in your browser's storage. You can export the whole library as one zip file, optionally passphrase-encrypted, and import it anywhere. If you sign in and enable sync, a copy also lives in the cloud so your other devices and household members can reach it.

Can I share manuals with my household?

Yes. With an account you can invite the people you live with into a shared household library: everyone sees the same devices and manuals, and anything one person adds appears for the others.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Everything already saved — manuals, photos, notes and the search index — is stored on your device, so reading and searching work without a connection. Only the online extras, like finding a new manual, need one.
